B is for … Brave.
Last weekend we headed down to the pier. For a chilly winter walk along the beach? I hear you ask. Nope. To play the penny machines? Nope. We actually went rock climbing!
At the end of pier, there is now a fantastic indoor climbing zone called Rock Reef. As Harley is only 4, he was able to do the ‘Clip n Climb’ which is a series of climbing walls and ladders. I’ll be really honest and say that I didn’t think he would get a couple of rocks above the ground… but I was so wrong.
He did amazing. He was so brave.
As he got the hang of it, he managed to get all the way to the top and press the light. The wall in the photo above, stops 3/4 of the way up and then turns into a transparent wall. As the climbing zone is on the end of the pier, you are then climbing high, over looking the sea. Pretty spectacular. Totally wasted on a 4 year old, yet I thoroughly enjoyed the view; watching him and the sea.
